Islam is a religion of peace that guides us to lead a virtuous life in compliance with Allah’s laws. Prior to becoming a practicing Muslim, it is essential to understand the fundamental teachings of Islam. Muslim children must learn about halal (good) and haram (bad) so that they can incorporate them into their lives and lead better life. To assist children in understanding the basic principles of Islam, we have developed an Islamic Studies for Kids Course. All Muslim children should be equipped with the necessary knowledge of Islam, including how to live a righteous life and avoid sin. E Quran Scholars provides one-on-one online Islamic tutoring for children, making it possible for Muslim families to learn and understand the Quran. We are accessible to individuals from all around the world, with the majority of our students hailing from the USA, Canada, UK, UAE, Singapore, and Australia.
What Will Children Learn in Basic Islamic Knowledge For Kids Course?
This course covers essential and fundamental knowledge of Islam for children, including:
- Basic Aqaa’id: Allah, Angels, Holy books, Holy prophets, Qiyamah
- Five Pillars: Shahadah, Prayer, Fasting, Zakat, Hajj
- Faith: beliefs (ایمان), Imaan-e-Mufassil & Imaan-e-Mujmal
- Taharah: Wudhu, Ghusal, and how to obtain purification
- Salah (Namaz) Training: Practice of five-time prayers, including Azaan, names and timings of prayers, Fard, Wajib, Sunnat, and Nafal prayers; method of Jumuah, funeral, and Eid prayers
- Du’as: various supplications for daily life
- Hadith: 40 famous Ahadith
- Memorization: 20 last Surahs from the Holy Quran, Six Kalimas, Ayah-tul-Kursi, Dua-e-Qunoot, Islamic months, etc.
- Manners: Eating, Drinking, Sleeping, Sneezing, Thanking, and daily life acts
- Good & Bad Deeds: Telling a lie, Blessings of truthfulness, etc.
- Islamic Stories: Stories of prophets and real heroes
- and much more about the daily life of a Muslim.
Younger students will explore basic aqaa’id through the Names and Attributes of Allah, Names of Angels, Prophets, Ta’awwuz, Tasmiyah, Kalimaat, Supplications, Names of Prayers, Cleanliness, Good and Bad deeds, and basic manners. Children aged 7 and above will be taught obligatory knowledge of Islam, Emaan, Ablution (Wudu), Ghusal, Prayers, Fasting, Hajj, Zakat, Hadith, Sunnah, Islamic Manners, the life of the Prophets and Sahaba, and Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad (صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ). Our teachers will emphasize strengthening the relationship between the Muslims and Allah, as well as loving the Prophet Muhammad ((صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ)) and his companions.
